Gassed Up Dispensary (“we,” “us”) runs gassedupdispo.com and two stores in Winston-Salem, NC: 5031 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104, and 1608 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. Questions: contact@gassedupdispo.com.

Our products are for adults 21 and older only.

1. Information we collect

Age check when you visit

When you enter the site, we ask you to confirm you are 21 or older. We do not keep the birth date you enter.

ID verification at checkout

Before an order is accepted, our verification partner AgeChecker.net confirms your age. Depending on what is needed, AgeChecker.net may ask for your name, date of birth and address, and in some cases a photo of your ID. AgeChecker.net handles that information under its own privacy policy. We receive the result of the check (verified or not) and a reference number, which we keep with your order. We do not store a copy of your ID.

Orders

Your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, the items you buy, and how you want your order (shipping, local delivery or store pickup).

Payment

Card and eCheck payments are processed by our payment processor, NMI. We never see or store your full card number.

Accounts and subscriptions

If you create an account: your login details, order history, saved addresses and any subscription settings.

Email list and messages

If you sign up for deals or contact us: your name, email, phone number (if you give it) and your message.

Referral program

If you join our refer-and-earn program: your name, email, payment email and referral activity, so we can pay your earnings.

Information collected automatically

Your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, and cookies (see below).

2. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to remember your age confirmation, keep items in your cart, keep you logged in, remember which store or delivery option you chose, and measure how the site is used.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are popular). Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and pages visited. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may stop the cart and login from working.

3. How we use your information

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including store pickup and local delivery
  • To verify that customers are 21 or older and meet other legal requirements
  • To run your account, subscriptions and referral payouts
  • To answer your questions
  • To send deals and news if you signed up (every email has an unsubscribe link)
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
  • To improve our website and products

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • NMI: payment processing
  • AgeChecker.net: age and ID verification
  • KORONA: our in-store point-of-sale system, so staff can prepare pickup orders and track sales and stock
  • Shipday: local delivery (your name, phone, address and order go to our driver)
  • Google: delivery distance check (your delivery address), Google Analytics, and Google Workspace (our email)
  • Shipping carriers: your name and address on shipped orders
  • DreamHost: our website host
  • Our email marketing service, if you join our list

We may also share information when required by law, or to protect our customers, staff or business.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes. Account information stays until you ask us to delete your account. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

6. Your choices

  • View and update your details in My Account.
  • Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
  • Ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing contact@gassedupdispo.com. We will reply within 30 days. Some order records must be kept by law.

7. Security

Our site uses HTTPS encryption, and only team members who need customer information can see it. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Children

Our site and products are only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
